rzmoon, formerly "A Bird in the Hand Design", is a website design and development firm. We participate in a creative mission to express the qualities and elements of people and their work in the world.        We specialize in collaborations with creatives of all disciplines. Utilizing a diverse background in print design, the arts, writing, editing, and programming, we will creatively promote your business or idea or passion via the unique medium of the web.        Publishing on the web gives you a 24 hour billboard with the capabilities of sight, sound, and motion, but the medium itself is somewhat fluid in that it will display differently depending upon the context within which it is viewed. The context includes which computer platform the viewer is using, as well as their browser (the software used to browse the web), the capabilities of their computer hardware, the speed of their internet connection (bandwidth), etc.       Defining the audience whom you hope to reach and targeting website development to reach your audience, is a key element of the design process. Expressing information in a manner that is easy to access, that reaches its intended audience, that communicates your qualities, and that retains its heart and soul is our goal.
